For the Boat Rental Service there is a restriction of departure from the starting point to 3 nautical miles (5.56km). This is not a problem as within these limits there are more than 20 beaches, bays and places to visit, as Diaporos island – Blue Lagoon – Myrsini – Kryftos – Paradise
Galazia Nera - Diaporos Island
The “Galazia Nera” (Blue Lagoon) is the No. 1 destination in the area and not unjustly. This area is located between the islands “Diaporos” and “Agios Isidoros”. The depth of the seabed is about 3 meters while the surrounding area rises. This difference in depth in combination with the white sand of the seabed is what makes the Galazia Nera the most popular destination in the area and certainly one of the most popular in Halkidiki.
Myrsini Beach - Diaporos Island
It is located less than 1 n.mile away from Galazia Nera and is definitely a must-see point of “Diaporos”. Although its official name is “Myrsini” it has other names given by its impressed visitors, such as “White Beach” or “Hawaii”, due to its white sand and crystal clear water.
Kryftos - Diaporos Island
Kryftos is located on the north side of the island “Diaporos” and it is a shelter for boats in case of bad weather, because the morphology of the area protects the boats from all the winds. In addition to the protection, it is a place worth visiting as the water is always calm and offers some “private” beaches that have natural shade from the local vegetation.
With the All-Day Cruise service and our captain, you can visit more remote destinations within the bay of "Mount Athos"
Diaporos
Diaporos and the small islands around, it should be definitely one of our stops on this cruise.
Kavourotrypes
Located 16km south of “Vourvourou”, with the small bays with white sand and turquoise water make them one of the most popular destinations in Halkidiki. Some beaches are accessible by car, while for others it is necessary to use a boat.
Ammouliani
“Ammouliani” is located 9.72 n.miles (18km) from Vorvourou and it is the only inhabited island of Halkidiki. It is located opposite the village of “Ouranoupoli”. “Ammouliani” as well as the surrounding islands and islets offer turquoise water and many secluded beaches.
Mount Athos
The “Mount Athos” or “Orchard of the Virgin” is located on the “third leg” of Halkidiki, on the peninsula of Mount Athos, and mainly consists of sacred monasteries and hermitages. The access to Mount Athos requires permission, while the presence of women is prohibited. However, it is possible to observe the remarkable monastic buildings from a distance.
