Welcome to SmileBoats. These Terms & Conditions apply to all boat rental bookings made through smileboats.gr, by phone, by email, through social media or in person.
By making a booking with SmileBoats, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the following terms.
1. Company Information
SmileBoats provides boat rental services in Vourvourou, Halkidiki, Greece.

2. Booking Service
Through our website, customers can select a boat, choose an available rental date, enter the number of passengers and complete their booking online.
A booking is valid only after the checkout process has been completed and the payment has been successfully processed, unless otherwise agreed in writing with SmileBoats.
SmileBoats reserves the right to contact the customer if additional information is required for the booking.
3. Prices
All prices displayed on the website refer to the rental of the selected boat for the selected date or period.
Prices may vary depending on the season, boat model and availability.
The final rental price is shown during the booking and checkout process before payment is completed.
4. Fuel Policy
Fuel is not included in the rental price, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Fuel costs are paid separately by the customer, based on the actual fuel consumption of the boat during the rental.
The customer will be informed about the fuel policy before departure. Fuel payment may be settled at the rental base, according to the consumption and the current fuel price.
5. Online Payments
Online payments are processed securely through Viva.com.
SmileBoats does not store or process card details directly. Payment card information is handled by the secure payment provider.
A booking is considered paid only when the payment has been successfully completed.
6. Passenger Number
The customer must declare the correct number of passengers during the booking process.
Each boat has a maximum passenger capacity. The maximum number of passengers must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
SmileBoats reserves the right to refuse the rental if the declared or actual number of passengers exceeds the allowed limit for the selected boat.
7. Arrival Time & Late Arrival
Customers are advised to arrive at the meeting point earlier than the scheduled departure time, so that the safety briefing and handover process can be completed.
In case of late arrival, the rental duration may be reduced. Late arrival does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or extension of the rental period.
8. Safety Instructions
Before departure, SmileBoats will provide the customer with the necessary safety instructions and information about the boat.
The customer agrees to follow all safety instructions, navigation rules and instructions provided by SmileBoats staff.
The boat must be used responsibly and only within the permitted areas and conditions explained during the briefing.
9. Weather Policy
Boat rentals are subject to suitable weather and sea conditions.
If SmileBoats considers that weather or sea conditions are unsafe, SmileBoats may reschedule the booking to another available date or offer a refund, depending on the circumstances and availability.
The final decision regarding safe operation belongs to SmileBoats.
10. Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled rental date.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental date, the amount paid may not be refundable.
No-shows are non-refundable.
If a booking cannot take place due to unsafe weather conditions, SmileBoats may offer rescheduling or refund, depending on availability and the circumstances.
For date changes, customers should contact SmileBoats as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability.
11. Right of Withdrawal
Boat rental bookings are services related to leisure activities provided for a specific date or period.
Therefore, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts may not apply to confirmed bookings for a specific rental date, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The cancellation policy stated above applies to all bookings.
12. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for providing accurate personal information, contact details, booking details and passenger number.
The customer is responsible for any damage, loss or misuse caused during the rental, according to the rental agreement and applicable law.
The boat must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered, except for normal use.
13. Refusal of Service
SmileBoats reserves the right to refuse or cancel a rental if:
– the customer does not follow safety instructions,
– the number of passengers exceeds the allowed limit,
– the customer appears unable to operate the boat safely,
– weather or sea conditions are unsafe,
– false or incomplete booking information has been provided,
– payment has not been completed successfully.
14. Changes by SmileBoats
SmileBoats may need to change the selected boat in case of technical issue, safety reason or operational need.
If this happens, SmileBoats will offer an equivalent or suitable alternative where possible.
15. Website Information
SmileBoats makes every effort to keep website information, availability and prices accurate and up to date.
However, errors may occur. In case of an obvious pricing, availability or technical error, SmileBoats reserves the right to correct the error and contact the customer.
16. Personal Data
Personal data collected through the booking and checkout process is used for booking management, customer communication, payment processing and legal/accounting purposes.
Payment details are handled securely by Viva.com.

17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law.
Any dispute will be handled according to the applicable laws and competent authorities in Greece.
